What are the pros and cons of living in Plano Texas? Let’s talk about the Pros and Cons of Living in Plano Texas today! Plano Texas is nestled in the metroplex just 25 minutes from Downtown Dallas, which is also the Southern border of Frisco!

Another good thing about Plano is the school system! It is one of the top-ranked public school systems in all of North Dallas, not too far behind Frisco. There’s a lot of great school systems in Plano. If you’re looking for more diversity, Plano is going to be a great option for your family.

Because of the diversity in Plano, you’re going to get a lot of different kinds of restaurants, anywhere from TexMex, great barbecue spots, Indian, Asian, and all the different cuisines. If you go to Legacy Foodhall in Legacy West which is a really popular spot, you can find over 20 restaurants inside of one building with amazing chefs!

There’s so many companies and job opportunities in Plano Texas. It’s got one of the lowest employment rates in the whole country. There are many corporations in Plano and as well as its next-door suburb Frisco. If you’re coming here for a job then Plano would be great option for you.

One of the downsides of living in Plano Texas is when you’re going to commute to Downtown Dallas then that’s something you just have to be mindful of. I highly recommend the Waze App to help you navigate your way here in Texas.

Overall, Plano Texas is a great city and a great Dallas Texas suburb to consider when making your move to Dallas Texas.
